Gacheri photographing from a safari vehicle at sunrise in the Masai Mara

Photo Safaris

Safari the way I do it

Every safari I lead is small — a maximum of four guests — in a dedicated vehicle with no sharing. We go where the light is, stay as long as something is happening, and leave when it makes sense to. There’s no itinerary to chase and no pressure to produce.

Whether you shoot on a mirrorless body or a phone, I’ll help you see what I see. Most guests leave not just with better images, but with a different way of looking.

What guests say

I've been on three safaris with large operators, and nothing compared to this. Gacheri knew exactly where to be before anything happened. She reads the bush like a language. I came back with images I'm genuinely proud of.

We booked as total beginners with camera phones. Gacheri never made us feel out of place. By day three we were shooting in manual mode. The photos are on our wall now.

Samburu is Gacheri's territory and it shows. The access she has, the pace she sets, the patience she models — it changed how I photograph. I'll be back.
